プログラムについてAbout the program

TCTP（Toronto Clinical Training Program）は、世界最先端の医療現場であるトロント小児病院（SickKids）で、臨床病棟体験や症例カンファレンスへの参加等を行う2週間の現地研修を通じて、カナダの医療制度・薬剤師業務を学ぶ、立命館大学薬学部の海外留学プログラムです。

臨床に関わる病院薬剤師をはじめ、薬局や企業等で薬剤師として活躍していく薬学科生に、国際的な視野を身につけてもらうことを目指しています。

The Toronto Clinical Training Program (TCTP) is a two-week study abroad program of the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Ritsumeikan University. Through clinical ward experience and case conferences at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), students learn about the Canadian health care system and pharmacy practice.

The program aims to give future pharmacists — in hospitals, community pharmacies and industry — a global perspective.

2週間の現地研修Two weeks in Toronto

5回生の2月〜3月、病院・薬局での実務実習を終えてから参加します。出発前には英語ワークショップと事前講義、帰国後には英語でのポスター発表があります。Fifth-year students take part in February and March, after their hospital and pharmacy clerkships. English workshops and preparatory lectures come before departure; an English poster session follows the return.

トロント小児病院 SickKidsThe Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids)

世界有数の小児病院で、病院薬剤師・レジデント・医師による講義、病棟見学、症例カンファレンス。小児の薬物動態、TDM、DI、BPMH などを学びます。Lectures by hospital pharmacists, residents and physicians, ward experience and case conferences at a world-leading children’s hospital. Paediatric pharmacokinetics, TDM, drug information, BPMH and more.

トロント大学薬学部Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy

Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy の授業に参加。トロント大学の学生と症例検討やネットワーキングを行います。Classes at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto, plus case discussions and networking with its students.

2021.05TCTP 2020（オンライン留学）の取り組みが、2020年度コロナ禍の立命館大学教員による未来に向けた挑戦「教育、研究、社会貢献等におけるグッドプラクティス」に採択されました。TCTP 2020 (online) was selected as a Good Practice in education by Ritsumeikan University.

2020.11.26TCTP 2016 に参加した卒業生のインタビュー「薬学部だからできる留学・英語（西岡優貴さん）」の動画が薬学部の YouTube チャンネルで公開されました。A video interview with a TCTP 2016 alumnus (Yuki Nishioka) was published on the College’s YouTube channel.
2020.12.19英語学習コンテンツ「授乳と薬物治療 Codeine Warning for Breastfeeding Moms」にクイズと解答、ダウンロード用の PDF を掲載しました。A quiz with answers and a printable PDF were added to “Codeine Warning for Breastfeeding Moms”.
